Close to London and the M25, Dorking is very accessible by car.

There are car park spaces for disabled badge holders in all main car parks and also some on designated street spaces.
Dorking is an interesting old Market town with many listed buildings, and this can mean that access for people with disability is not always easy. However, the Chamber of Commerce, local traders, Town Centre Management and Mole Valley Access Group work very hard to ensure that not only are as many shops and business premises as possibly accessible, but that staff take into account the varying requirements of disabled people.
The public toilet in South Street is owned and managed by Mole Valley District Council. Public toilets are also available at the rear of St Martins Walk shopping centre. There is a disabled WC operated by a RADAR key in the main courtyard of the shopping centre.
